Loyalty Card Terms and Conditions

The Journal Cafe Loyalty Card is to offer benefits and rewards to our regular customers (members).

By applying and using the Loyalty Card, you agree:

1.         Journal Cafe Loyalty Cards are not transferable, and can only be used by the original applicant of the card.

2.         Log on to www.journalcafe.co.nz to register and activate loyalty card by entering details on the Loyalty at Journal form and select submit.

3.         Members may be removed from the Scheme at any time at the discretion of Journal Cafe.

4.         It is a member’s responsibility to keep personal details updated.

5.         Loyalty Card must be presented at check out at the time of purchase to receive the benefit of the Loyalty Card and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

6.         For every $1 you spend, you will earn one Loyalty Point. You may redeem your Loyalty Point for Gift Voucher (minimum $10) by sending your enquiry to info@journalcafe.co.nz. It may take up to 48 hours for us to issue the Gift Voucher. The Gift Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The current points allocation is 15 points = $1. The Loyalty Points allocation may change from time to time without prior notice to you.

For example: the balance of your Loyalty Points is 400 points. You can redeem 300 points into a $20 voucher. (the new balance of your Loyalty Points will be 100 points.) This $20 voucher will be sent to you via email within 48 hours. You can use it at Journal Cafe yourself or give it to others as a gift.

7.         Loyalty Points cannot be redeemed for cash. Loyalty Points cannot be transferred, sold or assigned except in accordance with the Journal Cafe Loyalty Card scheme.

8.         From time to time, Journal Cafe may send you the Loyalty Card Special Offers by email only.

9.         Journal Cafe will collect and hold information gathered from the members in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. Journal Cafe may use details from member and member transactions to better understand shopping habits and improve services as a result.

10.     Journal Cafe will not pass-on member information to third parties.

11.     Journal Cafe reserves the right to change the Loyalty Card Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Terms will be updated on our website at www.journalcafe.co.nz.
